1Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Vonkworks LLC governing your use of the LiveWire mobile application ("LiveWire" or the "App"). By downloading, installing or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

LiveWire is made for a mixed audience — children and adults alike. If you are under the age of majority where you live, including any child under 13, you may use the App only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, and that parent or guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf. If you are a parent or guardian, you are responsible for supervising your child's use of the App and you agree to these Terms on their behalf.

Because the App's audience includes children, it follows the Google Play Families Policy. Section 6 and our Privacy Policy explain how advertising is restricted for younger players.

2Who we are

LiveWire is developed and published by Vonkworks LLC, a limited liability company based in Austin, Texas, United States. In these Terms, "Vonkworks", "we" and "us" refer to that company. You can reach us at livewire@vonkworks.com.

3What LiveWire is

LiveWire is a single-player puzzle game for Android in which you place wires and electrical components on a grid to route power from sources to loads. It is distributed through Google Play. There is no account, no online multiplayer and no server component: the game runs entirely on your device apart from downloading advertisements.

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features of the App, or the App itself, at any time. We may also release updates; some updates may be required for the App to keep working.

4Your licence to use the app

Subject to these Terms, Vonkworks grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use one copy of the App on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial entertainment.

This is a licence, not a sale. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Vonkworks.

5Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, translate, distribute, sell, rent, sub-licence or create derivative works from the App or any part of it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, or attempt to derive its source code, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
• Remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that infringes the rights of others.
• Interfere with the App's normal operation, including by tampering with saved data, patching the binary, or using automation tools, emulated input or modified clients to alter gameplay.
• Generate artificial advertising impressions, clicks or rewards, or otherwise interfere with the advertising described in section 6.
• Use the App or its assets commercially, including in advertising, resale or bundling, without our prior written permission.

6Advertising and rewards

LiveWire is free to play and is funded by advertising. After completing a level you are offered a rewarded video advertisement; watching it through to the end unlocks the next level. Advertisements are delivered by Google AdMob and their content is selected by Google, not by us.

Because LiveWire's audience includes children, the App asks for your age on a neutral age screen before requesting any advertisement. Players under 13, and players who do not answer, receive non-personalised advertisements only, and no advertising identifier is transmitted for them. Rewarded advertisements are always optional — declining one leaves you on the current level.

We do not endorse advertised products or services and are not responsible for them, nor for any third-party website or app you reach through an advertisement. Any dealings with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.

Rewards granted for watching an advertisement have no monetary value, are not property, cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for anything of value, and may be withdrawn or changed. Advertising availability depends on your network connection and on Google's ad inventory; we do not guarantee that an advertisement will always be available.

7Payments

LiveWire currently contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, and we will never ask you for payment details inside the App. If paid features are introduced in future, they will be sold through Google Play and governed by Google's payment terms in addition to these Terms, and this section will be updated before that happens.

8Your progress data

Your campaign progress, and the age bracket you give on the age screen, are stored only on your own device. They are not backed up to us, are not linked to an account, and cannot be transferred between devices or restored by us.

Clearing the App's data, uninstalling the App, resetting your device or a device fault will erase your progress permanently. We have no ability to recover it, and we are not liable for its loss.

9Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what LiveWire stores, what Google AdMob collects to serve advertisements, and the choices available to you. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App you acknowledge that you have read it.

10Intellectual property

The App and everything in it — including its source code, puzzle designs and generator, artwork, component symbols, sounds, text, the LiveWire name and the LiveWire logo — is owned by Vonkworks LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you. You may capture screenshots and video of your own play and share them non-commercially, including on video and streaming platforms, provided you do not present the material as your own work or imply that Vonkworks endorses you.

11Third-party services

The App is distributed through Google Play and uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Your use of Google Play is governed by Google's own terms, and Google's policies apply to the advertising services described above. We are not responsible for those services, and their availability is outside our control.

Google is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support for the App.

12No engineering advice

LiveWire is a puzzle game. Its circuit rules are deliberately simplified for play and do not model real electrical behaviour, component tolerances or safety margins.

Nothing in the App is engineering, electrical or safety advice. Do not rely on it to design, build, repair or evaluate any real circuit or electrical installation. Working with electricity can cause injury, fire or death; always consult a qualified electrician or engineer and follow the applicable regulations.

13Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vonkworks disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Where you are a consumer, this section does not affect statutory rights that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.

14Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vonkworks LLC and its members, officers and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or game progress, arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the App — whether based in contract, tort, statute or otherwise, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free app, is nothing) or US$50.00.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vonkworks LLC from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party.

16Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App. We may terminate or suspend the licence granted in section 4 if you materially breach these Terms.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18 and 19 — continue to apply afterwards.

17Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect, and continuing to use the App after that date means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the App.

18Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Travis County, Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, and you consent to their jurisdiction and venue.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Vonkworks regarding the App.
